摘要: In this study, the hepatoprotective activity of ethanol extracts Fumaria vaillantii Lois. was investigated against CCl4-induced toxicity in rats. F. vaillantii (500 mg/kg) caused a significant decrease plasma aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransaminase (ALT) and tissue malondialdehyde levels, increase reduced glutathione catalase compared with CCl4 group. These findings were approved by histopathological observations. Additionally, found liver Cu levels (18.5%) extract-treated group (500 mg/kg), while an Zn (16.2%) observed changes extract may contribute to its positive effects on toxicity. Phenolic acids flavonoids examined standardized reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography diode array detection basis rutin, chlorogenic caffeic as markers. Practical Applications Fumaria species have been used both food traditional medicine. some Mediterranean countries, leaves plant are cooked or eaten salad. Turkey, they also being drunk herbal tea, salad roasted. The results suggested that had protective effect hepatotoxicity. Therefore, can be consumed safely because beneficial toxicity, preparation medicines supplements pharmaceutical industry.
