摘要: Vertical augmentation of the alveolar ridge is intended to restore resorbed ridges. This procedure important for placement dental implants in a favorable position and also enhance restoration esthetics. article presents an approach vertical anterior maxilla utilizing symphyseal bone cores. A patient presented with 2 localized bony defects around maxillary lateral incisors. Following extraction these teeth, 7 mm on right 6 left were observed relation cementoenamel junction adjacent teeth. Two cores harvested from mandibular symphysis using trephine. These tapped into predrilled osteotomy sites corresponding diameters until stabilization was achieved. The grafted demineralized freeze-dried allograft titanium-reinforced expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane. After 5 months, membranes removed 4 observed. width increased as well. placed positions, restored after followed successfully 1 year loading. technique represents viable deficient ridges prior implants.
