Ridge expansion and immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone.

摘要: Implant placement and tooth restoration in the maxillary esthetic zone is challenging. In case reported here, treatment site was # 8, which had been extracted one year previously. Available bone three dimensions evaluated by computerized tomography. The bucco-lingual width at crest 3 mm to 4 wide, an inadequate for implant placement. Ridge expansion accomplished with hand osteotomes, followed tapered drills. A 4.3 x 13 Nobel Biocare placed. Following osseointegration, a PFM crown, supported abutment, very pleasing result achieved.
