摘要: Introduction Dislocation of the long head biceps tendon, including subluxation to displacement out bicipital groove, is an uncommon cause shoulder pain. We investigated role US in diagnosis this condition. Material and methods examined eight patients with dislocation tendon: seven had a displaced, one subluxated tendon. All early radiographic studies shoulder; then, three (37%) were submitted CT-arthrography two (25%) MRI. was performed at 7.5-13 MHz frequency, volumetric acquisition technique MRI surface coil 1.5 T. Three tendon surgical confirmation diagnosis. Results always diagnosed all our patients; confirmed findings. In patient showed displaced over lesser tuberosity whereas, 7 cases complete luxations, groove empty medially. At CT-arthrography, well outlined by contrast medium within its sheath. dislocations, it close anterior aspect humeral head. dislocation, both sulcus medial displacement. The subscapularis tear associated dislocation; supraspinatus observed 6 cases. Conclusions When imaging painful shoulder, we should investigate integrity course clinical practice, can be reliably US. used only supplement inconclusive studies.
