摘要: The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact that siblings and peers have on social skills children with autism. Subjects included six autism between ages five eight years age. were observed playing a typically-developing sibling for two one-hour sessions. Half subjects peer During each structured play session, toys from preselected set presented one at time. instructed together no further adult interaction. Data analyzed joint attention, initiation interaction, imitation, turn-taking. Results indicated significant difference in amount initiation, or turn taking when versus peers.
