摘要: We quantified ventricular fibrillation (VF) activation rate, conduction block, and organization transmurally in pigs dogs, whose transmural Purkinje distribution differ. In six five 75 to 100 plunge needles, containing four electrodes for the right ventricle (RV) left (LV) septum, were inserted vivo. Six VF episodes electrically initiated allowed last 47 180 seconds. From FFT power spectra, dominant frequency (DF), an estimate of incidence double peaks (DPI), calculated every 8 ms at each electrode. DF was highest epicardium lowest endocardium, whereas DPI endocardium entire LV RV base both dogs first 70 seconds VF. This changed little throughout 3 minutes but reversed by 2 conclusion, estimated rates block during are not uniformly distributed transmurally. During minute VF, faster activating exhibits less than slower raising possibility that generates wavefronts drive early Constancy this pattern its reversal is consistent with hypothesis later driven fibers.
