摘要: ABSTRACTRheological properties of micellar solutions a cationic Gemini surfactant, 2-hydroxypropyl-1,3-bis (dodecyldimethylammonium chloride), are studied as function aging time and salt addition. The results show that the self-aggregating behaviour in solution changes factor time, probably due to intermolecular hydrogen bonds. viscosity undergoes series visible so from flow state highly viscoelastic state, finally, transparent solid, with corresponding 4–6-fold increase zero shear viscosity. Rheology freeze fracture transmission electron microscopy (FF-TEM) measurements rod-like micelles at beginning, which then change wormlike micelles, eventually quasi-gel-like network. Addition an inorganic (NaCl) induces salting out, while addition organic (NaSal) promotes growth. At fixed NaSal-to-surfactant molar ratio 3:5, all Maxwell fluid...
