摘要: Handheld devices such as smartphones have become a major platform for accessing Internet services. The small, mobile nature of these results in unique mix network usage. Other studies used Wi-Fi and 3G wireless traces to analyze session, mobility, performance characteristics handheld devices.We complement through our study the differences content flow versus non-handheld traffic. We packet from two separate campus networks, with 3 days traffic 32, 278 devices. Trends handhelds include low UDP usage, high volumes HTTP traffic, greater proportion video Our observations can inform management system design.
