摘要: We investigate the structural evolution of Er/Si nanoclusters obtained in co-implanted fused silica upon annealing via Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The effect temperature (900–1200 °C) on nature relative fraction formed amorphous-Si, Si nanocrystals (Si-nc), amorphous Er nanoparticles (Er-np) was determined this ternary Er–Si–O system, showing a change growth regime above 1100 °C due to formation mixed Er/O/Si aggregates. observe that nucleation Er-np Si-nc are mutually affected. 2-fold increase size when no excess Si+ is present matrix indicates proximity clusters hinders diffusivity °C. This finding shows importance nanoclustering for improving thermal stability Er-doped systems.
