摘要: In thinking about how I might usefully contribute to the conference was reminded of a comment by Stephen Brookfield (1994) who described sense impostership he felt when speaking publicly groups educators: "The more know their work, feel humbled abilities ... If too much they are and what have done as educators, start say myself 'what on earth can these people that has any chance being taken seriously, or considered important, them?'" (1994: 207). Despite reservations, suspect there two things bring us together provide point mutual engagement: first, shared feeling aren't right; second, desire change way it is. case former, we could spend considerable amount time sharing stories despair, frustration, outrage even anger events, troubles crises in our world daily lives. Thankfully, each will also be able share success, joy, inspiration, hope nourish civic engagement. latter, all different set life trajectories, experiences expertise task changing places world. This provides significant opportunity both privately process, articulate just, democratic sustainable future for children.
