Expression profile of circular RNAs in human gastric cancer tissues.

摘要: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) represent a newly identified class of non‑coding RNA molecules, which interfere with gene transcription by adsorbing microRNAs (miRNAs). CircRNAs serve important roles in disease development and have the potential to as novel biomarkers for clinical diagnosis. However, role circRNAs occurrence gastric cancer (GC) remains unclear. In present study, expression profiles were compared between GC adjacent normal tissues using circRNA microarray, following quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was used confirm results microarray. Compared adjacent, mucosal tissues, 16 upregulated 84 downregulated GC. A total 10 selected validation three pairs noncancerous tissues. The qPCR consistent findings microarray‑based analysis. Of studied, only circRNA‑0026 (hsa_circ_0000026) exhibited significantly different (2.8‑fold, P=0.001). Furthermore, online Database Annotation, Visualization Integrated Discovery annotation predict circRNA‑targeted miRNA‑gene interactions. analysis revealed that may regulate transcription, metabolism, expression, silencing other biological functions conclusion, differential be associated tumorigenesis, is promising biomarker diagnosis targeted therapy.
