摘要: In dehydrating conditions late instar nymphs lose weight more slowly and survive longer than adult Periplaneta americana . This appears to be due, at least in part, the larger lipid stores which are found fat bodies of nymphs. When water loss from an animal is greater amount metabolic obtained catabolism stored foods, removed haemolymph order maintain balance tissues. Dehydration for 6 days causes volume decrease markedly most adults, but Na + K concentrations increase only slightly. During dehydration mean /K ratio body tissue increased except those had been fed on pure carbohydrate prior dehydration.
