摘要: A number of nitrogen containing compounds (NCC) accumulate in plants exposed to salinity stress. The most frequently accumulating NCC include amino acids, amids, imino proteins, quarternary ammonium (QAC) and polyamines. specific that saline environment vary with the plant species. Osmotic adjustment, protection cellular macromolecules, storage form nitrogen, maintaining pH, detoxification cells, scavenging free radicals are proposed functions for these under stress conditions. accumulation is usually correlated salt tolerance, even though this correlation based on untested hypotheses.
