摘要: The effects of topically applied timolol (a nonselective beta-blocker) and UF-021 prostaglandin-related compound) on pulsatile ocular blood flow (POBF) were investigated in 9 healthy volunteers. One drop either or was instilled one randomly selected eye the fellow received physiologic saline. Before 90 min after instillation, we measured intraocular pressure (IOP), POBF, heart rate (HR) (BP). After a washout interval at least 1 week, other drug previously treated eye. IOP, HR, PB following same protocol. administration, IOP POBF decreased significantly (26%, p = 0.01, 13%, 0.02, respectively) (11%, 11%, 0.03, respectively). HR also (10%, 0.03), but BP did not change significantly. no significant changes found BP. Our results suggest that normal subjects decreases both untreated eyes, whereas has action POBF.
