摘要: Tangible models help students and researchers visualize chemical structures in three dimensions (3D). 3D printing offers a unique straightforward approach to fabricate plastic of molecules extended solids. In this article, we prepared series digital design files molecular that will be useful for teaching education topics such as symmetry point groups. Two main file preparation methods are discussed within article outlines how prepare printable structures. Both start with either crystallographic information (.cif) or protein databank (.pdb) ultimately converted into stereolithography (.stl) by using variety commercially freely available software. From the prepared, 18 7 solids were printed. Our results show both suitable routes printab...
