摘要: PURPOSE: 1) To assess the opinion of teachers involved in visual screening school-age children and their referral to ophthalmologic examination within "Eye-to-Eye National Campaign for Visual Disorders Prevention Rehabilitation" (Campanha Nacional de Prevencao e Reabilitacao Olho no Olho); 2) identify teachers' perception with respect training received conducting campaign. METHODS: A descriptive study has been conducted, based on data recorded from application a questionnaire 1,517 elementary school working public schools 27 Brazilian states. The following items were examined: orientation, use educational videos handbooks, supplied explanations, difficulties, questions overall campaign assessment. RESULTS: 82.0% stated they had orientation 92.0% read "Teacher Orientation Manual". Among those who 47.0% it by officials; 30.0%, healthcare agents, 23.0% ophthalmologists.
