摘要: Internal waves (IWs) are identified off Bhimilipatnam, East Coast of India, from the time series CTD (hourly interval) and thermistor chain data (2 minute collected during 23 – 25 Feb, 2007. The measurements were carried out at 94 m water depth on continental shelf edge. These sets used to describe characteristics IWs their impact acoustic fields. Garrett Munk (GM) model has been predict low frequency (LF) with space time. Active seen in layer 54 a velocity 0.548 km hr -1 wavelengths order 0.03 21.8 km. could capture IW features thermocline region accurately than bottom. This be due limitation which considers linearity. High observed bottom advection tidal currents over shallow irregular presence stratification. study emphasizes linear rather transient non-linear induced by interaction topography. Acoustic simulation results for field reveal that Intensity loss anomaly eigenrays was found 2.86 dB 15.59 column maximum (38.48 dB) interaction. Our well compared those reported earlier experiments Northern Indian Ocean.
