摘要: Abstract For better performance and durability of a tractor during field operations, it is necessary to select the optimal gear setting for operation. The purpose this study was analyze effects selection on load acting transmission PTO shafts 75 kW agricultural rotary tillage with 20-cm depth. In order measure loads input shafts, measurement system installed tractor. consisted strain-gauge sensors torque radio telemetry I/O interface acquire sensor signals, embedded software data. Rotary conducted at three ground speeds rotational under upland sites same soil conditions. data converted spectrum using rain-flow counting SWT (Smith Watson Topper) equations. Sum damage due calculated Modified Miner's rule each selection, then severeness as relative magnitude sum. average shaft increased significantly speed from L1 (1.87 km h−1) L3 (3.77 km h−1) speed. Also, exerted greater than shaft. increased, indicating possible decreased fatigue life, both increased. Results might provide information useful optimum tillage, considering not only efficiency, but shafts.
