Experimental and Clinical Studies on Lactate and Pyruvate as Indicators of the Severity of Acute Circulatory Failure (Shock)

摘要: The increase in lactate (L) and pyruvate (P) content of arterial blood during experimental clinical shock states the extent to which such increases serve as measures oxygen deficit irreversible injury were investigated on an empirical basis. A standardized method for production hemorrhagic Wistar rat was employed. During a 4-hour bleeding period, consumption reduced approximately 40% control value, pH from 7.39 7.08, concurrent L 0.80 6.06 mm P 0.07 0.18 observed. Cumulative debt correlated with log (r = 0.50; < 0.0005) both significantly related survival. Correlation cumulative survival, computed values ratio (L/P) excess (XL), no higher magnitude. Partial correlation analysis demonstrated that neither measurement nor computation L/P or XL improved predictability...
