摘要: Some drug targets are not amenable to screening because of the lack a practical or validated biological assay. Likewise, some assays may be predictive compound activity in more disease-relevant scenario, assay development demand excessive allocation resources (i.e., time, money personnel) with limited knowledge actual tractability target. Label-free methodologies, implemented microtiter plate format, help address these issues and complement, simplify, facilitate assays. biosensors, based on grating resonance electrical impedance, versatile platforms for detecting phenotypic changes both engineered native cells. Their non-invasive nature allows kinetic monitoring multiple real-time cellular responses external stimuli, as well use successive pharmacological challenges. The temporal signature recorded particular stimulus is characteristic cell type signaling pathway activated upon binding ligand its receptor. Cellular label-free technology an important technical advance study functional selectivity.
