摘要: Abstract AIM: To determine factors influencing diagnostic yield in computed tomography (CT)-guided biopsy of lung lesions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: One hundred and ninety-five consecutive CT-guided biopsies were performed 182 patients between August 1995 September 2000 either fine-needle aspirate samples for cytology or core histology collected. Procedures divided into a group (true-positive true-negative results) non-diagnostic (false-positive false-negative the affecting accuracy assessed. RESULTS: fifty-six lesions (86%) malignant, 26 (14%) benign. More than one was 12 thirty-two true-positive, 27 36 false-negative. No false-positive results occurred study. Overall 81.5%. Significantly more aspirates diagnostic: 93 versus 78% ( p =0.054). CONCLUSION: In this study accurate method tissue sampling aspiration, not associated with an excess complications.
