摘要: Two automatic apparatuses utilizing a dual wavelength spectrophotometer were used to perform oxygen dissociation curves on microsamples of blood. The method provides complete print-out an curve in 15--20 min and the P50 vlues obtained normal individuals agree closely with those by classical methods. These measure affinity, ie P50, anemic children malignant disease prior treatment undergoing therapy. Red cell 2,3-DPG levels also measured. In patients anemia at time diagnosis therapy, values elevated as is usual other types anemia. However, when affinity measured receiving treatment, three response noted: 1) increased 2,3-DPG; 2) or low 2,3-DPG, and; 3) 2,3-DPG. Patients who adapted poorly during had usually received intensive chemotherapy transfusion their pattern red glycolytic intermediates was consistent population age. failure some respond decrease has implications regards hemoglobin level which they should be transfused.
