摘要: Verticillium dahliae seriously affects the yield of cotton. Here, V. infection induced significant reduction protein concentration in cotton xylem sap (CXS), suggesting that composition have changed. Thus, proteomics CXS from resistant Gossypium hirsutum cv. ND601 and susceptible CCRI8 infected by were analyzed using label-free method. A total 3047 proteins identified across all four sample groups. 1717 1476 differentially accumulated after with dahliae, respectively. The majority up-accumulated belongs to pathogenesis-related associates cell wall (CWRPs). Down-accumulated disappeared principally related plant growth development. Differentially CWRPs type quantity not entirely consistent each other, leading different dynamics strength, which partly proved measurement stem mechanical strength. Most development down-accumulated compared CCRI8, variety may transfer more energy for defense responses or reduce nutrient acquisition colonization effectively than susceptible. SIGNIFICANCE: wilt, mainly caused is one most destructive diseases usually penetrates root epidermis, reaches vascular tissues, eventually extends above-ground tissues along vessels. Obviously, an important battlefront dahliae. Therefore, we proteome profiles saps cultivars. Our findings provide valuable insights into molecular mechanism underlying interaction between
