摘要: The dlm (disease lesion mimic) mutant of soybean (Glycine max L. Merr) shows the similar a disease caused by fungus, Corynespora cassilcola. was examined at cellular and molecular level. Trypan blue staining result indicated that cell death detectable in entire region leaves excluding veins when lesions had already been developed. We found mesophyll cells palisade layer dim appeared to be wider apart from each other. chloroplasts contained bigger starch granules than those normal plants. also development plant light-dependent degradation during dark period diurnal cycle impaired mutant. Three pathogenesis-related genes, PR-1a, PR-4, PR-10, were for their expression patterns mimic. all three genes up-regulated some extent upon appearance Although exact function DLM protein remains elusive, our data would provide insight into mechanism underling associated with mutation.
