摘要: Abstract The use of public money to purchase development rights privately held land has become increasingly popular in recent years as a way preserve agricultural and open space. Several states counties have devoted substantial dollars toward the (PDR). majority PDR programs are found Northeast, particularly urban fringe areas where farmland space under intense pressure for conversion or suburban uses. It is unlikely, however, that alone can critical mass farmland. Indeed, number chosen not PDRs among their growth management techniques.
