摘要: The adipose tissue is a complex organ that regulates food intake and energy expenditure as well induces low-grade inflammation. This review deals with changes in the composition activity of after bariatric surgery, focusing on epicardial ectopic fat relationships between white brown tissues. Postoperative improvements size account for metabolic recovery decreased cardiovascular risk. Following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass or biliopancreatic diversion, proportional increase metabolically active was observed, most likely related to postoperative rearrangement entero-hormonal pattern an GLP-1 production: this aspect would promote weight loss maintenance post-surgery benefits.
