摘要: Sphingolipids are ubiquitous constituents of eukaryotic cells, and have been intensively investigated in mammals yeast for decades. Aspects sphingolipid biochemistry plants explored only recently. To date, progress has made determining the structure occurrence sphingolipids plant tissues; characterizing enzymatic steps involved production turnover (and, some cases, genes encoding relevant enzymes); identifying a variety biological functions plants. Given that these efforts far from complete much remains to be learned, this review represents status report on burgeoning field biochemistry. Contents Summary 677 I. Introduction 678 II. Plant III.
