摘要: A myriad of infectious diseases may course with a combination movement disorders and cognitive decline. The spectrum disorder in these conditions is varied, ranging from parkinsonism to multitude hyperkinesias, including tremor, dystonia, chorea, myoclonus. As the profile changes, most commonly found abnormalities belong so-called subcortical dementia. Among viral infections, postencephalitic HIV infection are examples combining disorders. former just historical importance since it vanished as mysteriously started. majority HIV+patients develop neurologic complications despite advent highly active antiretroviral therapy. substantial proportion patients display disorder, particularly parkinsonism, impairment. Neurosyphilis, spirochetal infection, also historically relevant, but remains an important cause dementia although rare. Prion uncommon their forms even rarer. Nevertheless, they should always be ruled out rapidly progressive Neurocysticercosis, common parasitic disease worldwide, increasingly recognized exceedingly rare subjects. Finally, incidence Sydenham’s chorea decline, acute children not infrequently associated dysexecutive syndrome.
