摘要: Abstract CuO doped lead borate glasses of the composition PbO 70%–B 2 O 3 30% with varying contents were prepared. UV–visible and infrared spectroscopic studies measured before after successive gamma irradiation two different doses namely 8 Mrad. The experimental results indicate that undoped sample reveals strong UV–near visible absorption while copper samples show additional broad band due to (Cu 2 + ) ions. FT spectrum vibrational bands triangular tetrahedral groups together sharing Pb–O vibrations. CuO-doped have been found a shielding behavior towards effects progressive causing maintenance spectral curves. changes in data are discussed relation states ions structural evolution caused by change glass including CuO.
