摘要: Before the sperm cell can reach oocyte it needs to be activated and undergo a series of preparative steps. The surface dynamics was studied in relation this activation process modifications removal components havebeen investigated. Bicarbonate-induced radical dependent formation oxysterols caused efficient free sterol depletion from responsive cells. This cells shown functional for making competent fertilizing oocyte. Bicarbonate enriched media also spontaneous extracellular matrix glycosylphophatidylinositol anchored proteins step required acquire receptivity recognizing zona pellucida. A novel wet mount atomic force microscopic technique showed specific anterior part equatorial segment head. is site involved binding fertilization fusion. allowed exposure membrane particles which were strictly arranged 17 nanometer hexagonal pattern. During acrosome reaction area fused with underlying outer acrosomal form 1 micrometer long 50 diameter tubules attached sub segment. We hypothesize that described capacitation-dependent changes are critical obtaining capacity. It matter future research identify key fusion structures appear on surface.
