摘要: OBJECTIVES: This study linked birth and death certificates to determine misclassification of deaths American Indian children in California. METHODS: Birth records for 1979 1993 were matched with mortality through a computerized system. RESULTS: The number Indians was estimated be three four times greater than that reported on certificates. Children urban counties those who died before 1987 more likely misclassified. CONCLUSIONS: California identify less one third the among children. Adjusting racial provides accurate accounting child Indians.
