Mortality comparisons of First Nations to all other Manitobans: a provincial population-based look at health inequalities by region and gender.

摘要: Contexte : Nous avons etudie les inegalites sur le plan de la sante chez membres inscrits des Premieres nations manitobaines par rapport au reste population du Manitoba. Methode compare trois indices mortalite - taux prematuree (TMP), defini comme etant deces avant 75 ans ajuste selon l'âge et sexe; l'esperance vie a naissance; annees potentielles perdues (APVP) pour Manitoba zones geographiques province. Les donnees ont ete derivees d'un registre, Population Health Research Data Repository, lie Systeme verification statut (SVS) federal, periode 1995 1999. Resultats Chez nations, TMP etait double celui (6,6 c. 3,3 p. 1 000, p<0,05), inferieure huit (chez hommes, 68,4 76,1 ans; femmes, 73,2 81,4 ans), APVP etaient plus deux fois superieures 158,3 62,5 000; 103,3 36,5). liee zone geographique (l'etat meilleur dans Nord) reciproquement correspondante (r = 0,61, degre liberte 9, test unilateral, p<0,03). A mesure que pourcentage regional diminue, hommes diminue 0,77, p<0,003). Par contre, concernant femmes inscrites ne permettent pas d'etablir tels liens. Conclusion: entre l'etat sont importantes, mais elles different sexe.
