摘要: Evidence exists that the observation of actions activates same cortical motor areas are involved in performance observed actions. The neural substrate for this is mirror neuron system. We harness neuronal system and its ability to re-enact stored representations as a means rehabilitating control. combined daily with concomitant physical training new neurorehabilitative program (action therapy). Eight stroke patients moderate, chronic deficit upper limb consequence medial artery infarction participated. A significant improvement functions course 4-week treatment, compared stable pre-treatment baseline, control group have been found. lasted at least 8 weeks after end intervention. Additionally, effects action therapy on reorganization were investigated by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), using an independent sensorimotor task consisting object manipulation. direct comparison activations between experimental groups those elicited before yielded rise activity bilateral ventral premotor cortex, superior temporal gyrus, supplementary area (SMA) contralateral supramarginal gyrus. Our results provide pieces evidence has positive additional impact recovery reactivation areas, which contain observation/action execution matching
