摘要: There might not be a specific nano-ethics, but there definitely is an ethics of new & emerging science and technology (NEST), with characteristic tropes patterns moral argumentation. Ethical discussion in around nanoscience reflects such NEST-ethics. We offer inventory the arguments, show their evolution, arenas full proponents opponents. also that are some nano-specific issues: how size matters, when agency delegated to smart devices. Our overall approach pragmatist ethics, we conclude struggle (and learning) more productive than models emphasizing consensus.
