Profile, Gaming Usage and Purposes of Gaming of Internet Café Users in Manila: An Exploratory Study

摘要: This descriptive-exploratory study attempted to give the readers a portrait of cyber cafA© gamers in Manila. It determined profile gamers, their gaming usage, and purposes gaming. Descriptive statistics revealed that most respondents were Manila settlers, students, pursuing or had obtained college degrees, male, young, Roman Catholic, single, belonged middle-income class, played games cafA©s afternoon once twice week. One-way chi-square showed frequency was not equally distributed week tendency play particular time day. Real-time strategy frequently cafA©s. To recreate, relieve boredom, have fun top three reasons playing Conclusions directions for future research also presented.
