A clinicopathological review of 100 cases of primary malignant tumours of the liver.

摘要: One hundred cases of primary malignant tumour the liver coming to necropsy in period 1900-1969 have been reviewed. The overall incidence was 0·46% all necropsies. hepatic cirrhosis 12·3%, but corresponding male and female incidences were 17·5 4·4% respectively. There no significantly increased haemochromatosis. An increasing tumours has noted since 1940 appears be due a increase cirrhosis. Hepatocellular carcinomas outnumbered cholangiocarcinomas by 8 1, more common males than females (6 1), 77% occurred cirrhotic livers. Tumours supervened as complication macronodular or predominantly patterns.
