摘要: Abstract The present work proposes an experimental investigation and optimization of various process parameters during taper cutting deep cryo-treated Inconel 718 in wire electrical discharge machining process. Taguchi's design experiment is used to gather information regarding the with less number runs considering six input such as part thickness, angle, pulse duration, current, speed tension. Since traditional Taguchi method fails optimize multiple performance characteristics, maximum deviation theory applied convert characteristics into equivalent single characteristic. Due complexity non-linearity involved this process, good functional relationship reasonable accuracy between difficult obtain. To address issue, study artificial neural network (ANN) model determine characteristics. Finally, optimized obtain a best parametric combination by new meta-heuristic approach known bat algorithm. results proposed algorithm show that effective tool for simultaneous WEDM
