摘要: Surface anchored metal-organic frameworks, SURMOFs, are highly porous materials, which can be grown on modified substrates as oriented, crystalline coatings by a quasi-epitaxial layer-by-layer method (liquid-phase epitaxy, or LPE). The chemical termination of the supporting substrate is crucial, because most convenient for modification formation suitable self-assembled monolayer. choice particular SAM also allows control over orientation SURMOF. Here, we demonstrate first time site-selective growth SURMOF HKUST-1 thiol-based monolayers patterned nanografting technique, with an atomic force microscope structuring tool. Two different approaches were applied: one based 3-mercaptopropionic acid molecules grafted in 1-decanethiolate SAM, serves matrix this nanolithography. second approach uses 16-mercaptohexadecanoic acid, 1-octadecanethiolate SAM. In both cases observed. latter case roughness found to significantly higher than 1-mercaptopropionic acid. successful grafting process was verified time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry and microscopy. structures via LPE investigated characterized microscopy Fourier-transform infrared
