摘要: Synovial sarcoma (SS) arises in soft tissues but may invade adjacent bone. We describe a case of SS presenting as aggressive lysis the proximal ulna, imaging which suggested primary bone lesion. Needle biopsy showed "small round blue cell tumour", and primitive neuroectodermal tumour (PNET)/Ewing was on basis appearances. The definitive diagnosis synovial made following molecular genetic studies, demonstrated fusion product incorporating genes SYT SSX1. importance correct to guide appropriate management, and, therefore, necessity for is discussed.
