摘要: Optical waveguide structures containing siloxane resin composistions are core materials and a method for preparing the waveguides disclosed. The compositions can be cured by thermal energy or actinic radiation. In addition, conventional patterning techniques used, which makes present ideal practicing on commerical scale. optical of invention exhibit very low losses compatible with silicon preocessing requirements, them useful in integrated circuitry. high refractive index contrasts between various claddings, including other resins, particularly desirable.
