摘要: Providing flexible quality of service (QoS) for multiple classes traffics is one the important challenges in design optical burst switching (OBS) networks. In this paper, we propose a novel bandwidth reservation scheme periodically scheduled bursts. Multi-protocol label (MPLS) used to construct reliable delivery channels across network. Meanwhile, best effort bursts are transferred using one-way offset signalling improve wavelength efficiency. Our hybrid OBS architecture provides flow level QoS control without compromising performance Simulation results show that our approach better than early dropping schemes.
