摘要: In recent years, measures of cardiac interoceptive accuracy have been heavily scrutinised. The focus has on potentially confounding physiological and psychological factors; little research examined whether the device used to record objective heartbeats may influence accuracy. present studies assessed employed influences heartbeat counting (HCT) location from which are perceived. Study One, participants completed HCT using a hard-clip finger pulse oximeter, electrocardiogram (ECG) smartphone application. Two, an ECG, soft-clip oximeter were compared. Moderate-strong correlations observed across devices, however, mean confidence varied as function device. Increased sensation in when was related increased relative ECG. Results suggest that can performance, argue against comparing, or combining, scores obtained different devices.
