摘要: This study assessed the multidimensional health needs of homeless population Richmond, Virginia, using Neuman systems model as conceptual framework. A combination indicator, key informant, and survey approaches was implemented. Specific problems existed in economic, social, mental, physical variables. Many persons reported being single, having family problems, unemployed. Of particular interest were findings a high prevalence mental disorders, substance abuse, infectious/parasitic diseases among homeless. Implications results led to suggested program components for nurse-run clinic targeting well continuing nursing evaluation document effectiveness this clinic.
