摘要: An increase in the number of individuals who are homeless since 1980s has made homelessness a major social, economic, and political problem United States. The this country is estimated as high 3 million, with women children constituting fastest growing subgroup population. A study eight using shelter southeastern city was conducted to explore experience from women's perspectives. modified ethnographic approach semistructured interview provided qualitative data. constant comparative method analysis identified themes heightened awareness, guarding, identification needs, strategies for resolution. This provides new understanding how some homelessness, well responses they take solve problem.
