A MEASUR and RUP Combined Business Modeling Method

摘要: Business modeling is a primary task in the information systems development lifecycle. Although both MEASUR (Methods for Eliciting, Analyzing and Specifying User's Requirement) RUP (Rational Unified Process) provide their own Modeling Method (BMM), each has obvious merits demerits. To keep avoid demerits at same time, this paper, combined BMM devised based on comparison of two BMMs respectively from semantics, pragmatics social world semiotic framework. The method proposed consists three activities sequence. Language (UML) Use Case Diagrams (UCD) are employed first activity "UML UCD Modeling" to model business functions concerning with since they only formal result BMMs. extended UML Activity (AD) second "Extended AD norms communications can directly obviously but cannot therefore make analysis purposes much easier. In addition, it easy extend deontic operators express meaning as following simple rules. Ontology Charts (OC) third "OC define meanings terminology used models semantics ontological dependencies modeled clearly OC not defined Class Diagrams.
