摘要: We present a bandwidth-efficient channel coding scheme that has an overall structure similar to binary turbo codes, but employs trellis-coded modulation (TCM) codes (including multidimensional codes) as component codes. The combination of with powerful leads straightforward encoder structure, and allows iterative decoding in analogy the decoder. However, certain special conditions may need be met at encoder, decoder needs adapted TCM been investigated for 8-PSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM schemes varying bandwidth efficiencies. A simple code choice based on minimal distance punctured also performed. interset distances partitioning tree can used fix number coded uncoded bits. derive symbol-by-symbol MAP operating log domain, apply methods reducing complexity. Simulation results are presented compare traditional well Gray mapping. show novel is very powerful, yet modest complexity since used.
