摘要: Proteasome inhibitors are used against human cancer, but their mechanisms of action not entirely understood. For example, the role tumor suppressor p53 is controversial. We reevaluated in proteasome inhibitor-induced apoptosis by using isogenic cancer cell lines with different status. found that well-known such as MG132 and bortezomib, well recently discovered inhibitor thiostrepton, induced p53-independent correlated induction proapoptotic Noxa Puma protein. In addition, these drugs inhibited growth several independently Notably, thiostrepton more potent HepG2 cells knockdown than parental wild-type p53. Our data confirm generally induce cells.
