Extensive characterization of genetic alterations in a series of human colorectal cancer cell lines.

摘要: A number of genetic alterations have been described in colorectal cancers. They include allelic losses on specific chromosomal arms, mutations oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes and mismatch repair genes, microsatellite instability coding repeat sequences target methylation defects gene promoters. Since these reported by different groups tumors cell lines, the complete repertoire for any given sample remains unknown. In present study, we analysed a series 22 cancer lines 31 alterations. We found significant correlations between mutational profiles associated with differences status. This panel colon is representative heterogeneity occurring sporadic carcinoma. Our results may prove to be very useful understanding biological pathways involved development cancer, studying cellular biology pharmacology same lines.
