摘要: Abstract This study was geared towards assessing the possible antioxidant, enzyme inhibitory, and cytotoxic activities of ethyl acetate, methanol, water extracts Sideritis ozturkii Aytac & Aksoy. The phytochemical profiles studied were characterised by HPLC-MS/MS. methanol extract, rich in phenolics (78.04 mg gallic acid equivalent/g), exhibited strongest antioxidant activities. However, acetate extract most active inhibitory assays. S. (1 mg/ml, 48 h incubation) slightly inhibited (22%) growth human breast cancer cell line (MDA-MB-231 cells). On other hand, showed strong inhibition (98% 97%, respectively) MDA-MB-231 cells caused apoptotic death. Scientific data generated from this further appraises multiple biological plants belonging to genus. In addition, preliminary evidence gathered current investigation advocates for studies preparation therapeutic formulations ozturkii.
