摘要: Klebsiella pneumoniae is a common environmental agent of clinical and subclinical mastitis affecting dairy herds, may be present in the final product decreasing its quality. Mastitis caused by K. even more severe due to poor response antibiotic therapy, rapid evolution toxic shock death animal. This paper aimed study prevalence this pathogen among herds ten farms located different municipalities Sao Paulo State based on size use milking technology. All mammary glands all lactating cows were screened using California Test (CMT) strip cup. The primers designed tested at Laboratory Molecular Biology applied Zoonoses (FMVZ, Unesp-Botucatu) targeting 16S rRNA gene. included 1067 animals. Six cases intramammary infection detected six two farms. Moreover, isolated 77 swabs (34 9 farms, 7 waiting rooms 5 6 parlors 4 11 rectums 19 hindlimbs analysis confirmed pneumoniae. At least one strain identified certain site showing need maintaining hygiene
